CDR Michael A. Zdunkiewicz enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1994 as a Naval Aircrew Aviation Systems Warfare Operator and has since held various leadership roles, including Deputy Commander of CTF-57 in Manama, Bahrain. After earning a BA in Criminal Justice from Columbia College, they became a Naval Flight Officer and participated in numerous operations, including the P-8A Poseidon Fleet Introduction. Their career has included key positions such as Chief of Operations for CTF-57 and Commanding Officer of VP-45. CDR Zdunkiewicz attained a Master of Science in Operations Management from the University of Arkansas and maintained roles within the Maritime Patrol and Reconnaissance Weapons School.
