Omer Duru

Omer Duru is a Judge Advocate in the U.S. Navy with extensive experience in military law and international relations. They currently serve as the Deputy Director for Judge Advocate Assignment and Community Management, overseeing the placement of over 400 attorneys and naval officers. Omer previously held roles including Deputy Chief of National Security Law at U.S. European Command and Prosecutor at the Department of Defense. They earned a Juris Doctorate from American University, Washington College of Law, and a Master of Laws in Military and International Operational Law from Harvard Law School.
