Ron Malec

Ron Malec, L.G., is a seasoned professional geologist with extensive experience in soil and groundwater investigations for regulatory-driven site assessments and remediation. Currently serving as a Senior Remedial Project Manager with the US Navy since January 2022, Ron has previously held significant roles at APTIM, CB&I, Shaw Environmental and Infrastructure, and IT Corporation, where contributions spanned project lifecycle phases including business development, field investigations, and regulatory compliance. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Geology from the University of Pittsburgh and a certificate in Information Technology Project Management from Carnegie Mellon University. Additional early career experience includes a role as a Geologic Intern with the US Army Corps of Engineers and service as a Hospital Corpsman in the United States Navy, supporting medical operations and participating in training exercises during the Persian Gulf War.
