Stephen J.

Stephen J. has extensive military experience, serving as a Captain in the US Navy since June 1996. Notable roles include Deputy Director of Defense Operations and Policy Advisor to the Ambassador at the United States Mission to NATO from September 2015 to May 2018, and Chief of Staff to the Commander of Allied Maritime Air Forces at NATO from July 2020 to July 2023. Stephen has held various leadership positions, including Commanding Officer of HSC 23, where responsibilities included overseeing operations for 15 aircraft and a team of 262 personnel. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the Virginia Military Institute, a Master of Arts in Military Operational Arts and Sciences from the Air Command and Staff College, a Master of Science in National Security Studies from the National War College, and a Master of Arts in International Relations from King's College London.
