Tye Olson

Tye Olson is a Senior Operations Manager for U.S. Cooperative Threat Reduction in the Indo-Pacific region, providing operational leadership and strategic guidance to mitigate global CBRN threats. With nearly two decades of experience in submarine operations and national security strategy, Tye previously served as an Executive Officer aboard the USS Nevada and has undergone extensive training as a nuclear-trained officer in the U.S. Navy. Tye holds a Master of Science in National Security Strategy from the National War College and a Master of Engineering Management from Old Dominion University, alongside a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of California, San Diego. Tye is also a proud member of Phi Kappa Phi and Omicron Delta Kappa, and values family as a dedicated husband and parent.
