Will Xu

Will Xu is a Judge Advocate at the US Navy, where they served as a Defense Attorney for the Guantanamo Military Commissions and led the Criminal Defense Branch for service members in the Middle East. Previously, they worked as a Trial Attorney at Brooklyn Defender Services, advocating for indigent parents in the child-welfare system, and served as a Legal Fellow with the American Red Cross, promoting international humanitarian law. Will holds a J.D. from American University, Washington College of Law, a Master of Arts in Defense and Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College, and a Bachelor of Science in Packaging Science from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
