Ray Tan

Ray Tan is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in speed skating and technology. Currently serving as a Certified National Referee at US Speedskating since December 2016, Ray also holds the position of President for the Columbus Speedskating Club, an organization devoted to promoting short track speed skating. In the tech sector, Ray has significant experience, including roles as Lead Data Scientist at MavenView, Founder of NH Buddy, and AI and Data Science Engineer at IBM, where the first successful AI-powered chatbot was co-created. Additional experience includes founding the E-Sports Initiative, work as a Big Data Engineer at Cisco Systems, and contributions to jet engine assembly at GE Aviation. Ray holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The Ohio State University.
