Chris Smith

Chris Smith currently serves as the Director of Engineering at U.S. Xpress, Inc., a position held since November 2011 after progressively advancing through roles such as Sr. Manager of Data Engineering, Manager of Information Technology, and Sr. Architect of Data. Prior to this, Chris worked at La-Z-Boy as a Programmer/Project Manager from July 2007 to November 2011, and held the position of Senior Consultant at Retail Data Solutions from February 2001 to July 2007. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Biosystems Engineering Technology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Xavier University.
