Sze Chi Lim

Sze Chi Lim has been working in the field of data science and machine learning since 2017. In that time, they have held various roles at different companies. In 2017, they were an AI Researcher at BioMind, where they collaborated with radiologists to develop deep learning models to detect cranial stenosis from MRA and brain aneurysms from DSA scans. In 2019, they held two roles at Dyson, as a Senior Machine Learning Research Engineer and a Machine Learning Research Engineer. That same year, they were a Machine Learning Engineer at PropertyGuru Group, where they developed a semi-supervised NLP model to flag potentially racist remarks on property listing descriptions. In 2021, they became a Senior Data Scientist at Lomotif, where they are building scalable video search, recommender systems, and content moderation algorithms with AI/ML. Sze Chi is currently in their role at Us2.ai as a Senior Data Scientist.

Sze Chi Lim has obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science from the National University of Singapore in 2022, a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Nanyang Technological University Singapore in 2017, and a Singapore-Cambridge GCE ‘A’ Level from Temasek Junior College in 2012. In 2020, Sze Chi Lim also obtained a Developing on AWS certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
