Michael Collins is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience as a White House correspondent currently working for USA Today since January 2019. Previously, Collins held the title of Washington Correspondent for USA Today/Gannett Washington Bureau since April 2016 and served in the same role for Journal Media Group's Tennessee newspapers from April 2015 to April 2016. From January 2001 to April 2015, Collins was a correspondent for Scripps Howard News Service covering multiple states and federal agencies. Earlier experience includes serving as the Frankfort Bureau Chief for The Cincinnati Post/The Kentucky Post and as Night City Editor for The Kentucky Post.
