Derek Linder has a strong background in supply chain management and manufacturing. Derek currently serves as the Vice President of Supply Chain at USALCO, where they are responsible for overseeing operational performance, budgeting, and investments. Derek also provides oversight for EH&S and Engineering Projects, as well as leading the Caribbean operations team. Prior to this role, Derek held various positions at GEO Specialty Chemicals, Inc. including Director of Manufacturing, Regional Manufacturing Manager, Plant Manager, and Quality Assurance Manager. In these roles, they were responsible for managing manufacturing operations, developing manufacturing strategies, and ensuring quality control. Derek's early career experience includes working as an Analytical Chemist at Praxair, where they developed gas chromatography methods and performed raw material analysis.
Derek Linder completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biochemistry from Southeastern Louisiana University from 2004 to 2008. Derek later pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Florida, which they completed from 2010 to 2012. Finally, Derek obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Louisiana State University from 2018 to 2020.
