James Rees has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. James started their career in the British Army as a Senior Systems Engineer, where they were responsible for technical management and supervision. After leaving the army, Rees joined Network Equipment Technologies as a Senior Technical Consultant, providing pre-sales and service consultancy for government and enterprise organizations. James also served as a Professional Services Manager, leading a global UC pre-sales and service support team.
Rees then joined Sonus as a Channel Program Manager for the EMEA region, where they managed sales teams and developed partner relationships. James provided expertise in solution deployment and equipment interoperability, and supported account managers in driving sales across EMEA.
Following their tenure at Sonus, Rees joined Unify Square as a Managing Director for the UK and Nordics. James was responsible for business development, sales, and account management, with a focus on delivering SaaS products around the Skype for Business platform. James also briefly served in a role in product sales.
Most recently, Rees worked at Amazon Web Services as an Amazon Connect GTM Leader, where they led the go-to-market strategy for Amazon Connect.
In their future endeavours, Rees will join USAN, Inc. as a CX Strategy professional.
