Whitney Baird is the President and CEO of the U.S. Council for International Business (USCIB) since 2023. They previously served in various roles at the U.S. Department of State, including Deputy Assistant Secretary in the Bureau of African Affairs and Acting Deputy Assistant Secretary in the Bureau of European Affairs in 2018. Additionally, Whitney was the Minister Counselor for Economic Affairs at the U.S. Embassy in London from 2014 to 2017 and held the position of Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary in the Bureau of Economic & Business Affairs before their current role. Whitney earned their degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill between 1979 and 1983.
