Jared Spool

Jared Spool is a prominent figure in user experience design, co-founding Center Centre-UIE in 1988, where Jared currently serves as Co-CEO and Maker of Awesomeness, collaborating with Dr. Leslie Jensen-Inman to establish a school for industry-ready UX Designers. As a long-time conference chairperson, Jared has led significant events such as the annual User Interface Conference and the Warm Gun Conference in partnership with 500 Startups. Additionally, Jared is the Editor in Chief of UIEtips, a leading newsletter on user experience, and has experience as a Digital Services Expert with the United States Digital Service. Previous positions also include teaching Experience Design Management at Tufts University and contributing as a software engineer at several notable technology firms, emphasizing usability testing and UI design.
