Tom Searcy

Tom Searcy has a diverse work experience in sales and leadership roles. Tom currently works at Userful as the Vice President of Sales - Americas, a position they have held since February 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Sales, focused on key accounts for the West region at Userful from August 2019 to February 2023.

Before joining Userful, Tom was the Director of Sales at Atmosera from October 2018 to May 2019. Atmosera is a managed solutions provider for Microsoft Cloud technologies, and Tom played a key role in delivering and managing Azure solutions for clients.

From September 2011 to May 2018, Tom was the Vice President of Sales at ClearOne. In this role, they led the company's digital signage business and achieved significant SaaS sales in various industries. Tom was responsible for training and managing a team of manufacturing representatives and distribution partners.

Prior to their role at ClearOne, Tom founded MagicBox, Inc. in April 1995 and served as its President. MagicBox was a pioneer in visual communication hardware and software, focusing on CATV, education, and government sectors. As the President, Tom was involved in all aspects of the business, including sales, engineering, and product development.

Throughout their career, Tom has demonstrated strong sales and leadership skills, consistently achieving high-value sales and driving business growth.

Tom Searcy, CTS, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Washington. Tom also obtained a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance from the University of San Francisco. In addition, they have achieved the Certified Technical Specialist certification from AVIXA. Tom has also pursued further education by obtaining certifications in Cloud Architecture: Core Concepts and Learning Virtualization from LinkedIn.
