Mikhail Penkovsky

Mikhail Penkovsky is an accomplished executive in the IT and cybersecurity sectors, currently serving as the Vice-President of Sales & Marketing at UserGate since October 2023. Previously, Mikhail held the position of Commercial Director at T1 Group, the leading Russian IT company, from July 2023 to October 2023. Prior to T1, Mikhail spent over 14 years at Veeam Software, where responsibilities included managing the Inside Sales organization and driving commercial segment sales across EMEA, achieving substantial growth. Mikhail's earlier experience includes serving as Sales and Marketing Director at Agnitum Ltd., where the focus was on international market revenue growth, and as Managing Director at PC Flank, where the internet-based content provider was established. Mikhail holds a Master's degree in International Industrial Management from Baltic State Technical University "VOENMEH" and a secondary education from Gymnasium No. 92 in St. Petersburg.
