Alejandro Rivas-Micoud has over 38 years of work experience in various industries. Alejandro began their career in 1982 as a Nuclear Startup Test Engineer for Bechtel Power Corporation. In 1988, they became the Managing Director of EGIS KK, the Japanese branch of a French telecom focused consultancy. Alejandro restructured and restored the company to profitability within 6 months of starting and managed a mix of 15 French, US and Japanese consultants. In 1994, they founded and became the CEO of Mediafon SA (Europe), a value added service provider for semi-automated call center telephony services. Alejandro managed the launch, regulatory permits, hiring of key personnel, and acquisition and financing of equipment. In 1997, they became the CEO and co-founder of the Spanish subsidiary of RSL Communications Ltd. Alejandro led the process of initial incorporation, hiring of senior management team, obtaining a Spanish telecommunications license, and launching services to both residential and business customers. In 2000, they became a Board Director of Banda Ancha SA, a Joint Venture set up by Dragados Industrial, Hidrocantabrico, and Liberty Global subsidiary UPC Holding BV. In 2001, they purchased a majority stake in Alo Comunicaciones, the Spanish subsidiary of RSL Communications, and in late 2002 acquired a majority stake of wireless carrier Banda Ancha. In 2004, they became a Member of YPO - Young Presidents' Organization. In 2012, they became a Mentor for The Founder Institute, an American business incubator, entrepreneur training and startup launch program. Finally, in 2009, they became the Founder & CEO of Userlytics Corporation, one of the global leaders in user experience remote testing.

Alejandro Rivas-Micoud's education history includes completing the Executive Education "Challenge of Leadership" program at INSEAD in 2005, an MBA in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies at INSEAD, a Movie Directing course at the New York Film Academy, a Business/Managerial Economics course at Saint Louis University Madrid, and a Nuclear Power Reactor Operations program at the US Navy Nuclear Power Program.
