Hana Sharifi

Hana Sharifi is an experienced leader and advocate in education and STEM, currently serving as an Orientation Leader and Transition Mentor at the University of Toronto's Victoria College. In these roles, Hana supports the integration of first-year students into university life through mentoring and community engagement, demonstrating a commitment to equity and inclusivity. As Co-President of Women in Science and Engineering (WISE) University of Toronto Chapter, Hana empowers women in STEM and has successfully organized conferences and outreach initiatives. Additionally, volunteer experience at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital showcases Hana's dedication to supporting children with disabilities. With a Bachelor of Science in Physiology and Ecology & Evolutionary Biology from the University of Toronto, Hana combines academic knowledge with hands-on experience in tutoring, user experience testing, and various roles promoting STEM education and community service.
