Katie Beard

Katie Beard has an extensive background in digital accessibility and usability. Katie is currently employed at UserWay.org as the Director of Accessibility Solutions, where they lead the development of AI-based compliance-as-a-service solutions to help websites achieve and maintain accessibility standards. Prior to this role, Katie worked at Accenture as an Accessibility and Usability Engineer, where they assisted SMEs in implementing accessibility solutions and ensuring regulatory compliance. Katie also has experience as a Web Developer and Accessibility and Usability Project Lead at Cisco.

Katie Beard attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2006 to 2010, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Information and Communication Technologies.
