Xiaoli Yu

Xiaoli Yu currently serves as an Adjunct Professor at the American College of Education, teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in the Department of Teaching and Learning. Additionally, Xiaoli is the Lead Proofread at Speak, focusing on localizing Simplified Chinese content. Previous experience includes roles as an Assistant Professor at Middle East Technical University, where teaching and mentoring at undergraduate and graduate levels were prominent responsibilities, and as a Faculty Lecturer, instructing on various English Language Teaching methodologies. Previous positions also encompass teaching roles at the University of Central Florida and the Hope CommUnity Center, alongside involvement in language instruction for international students at The Language Company. Xiaoli holds a PhD in Education with a TESOL track from the University of Central Florida, an MA in Curriculum & Instruction with a TESOL emphasis from The University of Kansas, and a BA in Business English from Shandong University of Finance and Economics.
