Arjun Baokar

Arjun Baokar has been working in the engineering field since 2021, when they started at Vesta. Prior to that, they worked at Brex as an Engineering from 2020 to 2021. From 2016 to 2020, they were a Tech Lead and Software Engineer at Blend. From 2014 to 2016, they were a Security Researcher at BLUES Lab and an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at the University of California, Berkeley. In 2014, they were a Performance Engineering Intern at salesforce.com, where they managed data collection automation using MySQL and Splunk, created configurable dashboards, and created automatic Splunk query generation tools. In 2012, they were an Undergraduate Researcher at the Berkeley Laboratory for Automation Science and Engineering, where they collaborated in improving object recognition and grasping ability of PR2 robot and re-creating Opinion Space Learning website. In 2013, they were a Site Reliability Engineering Intern at eBay Inc, where they built various data visualization UIs, built a tool to parse server logs and stack traces, and developed simple sentence recognition algorithms. In 2012, they were a Technical Intern at JoynMe. In 2009, they were a Volunteer Shift Leader at Good Samaritan Hospital, where they managed the volunteer shift of 20 volunteers, delivered lab samples, transported patients, and visited patients in their rooms to ensure their needs were met.

Arjun Baokar attended University of California, Berkeley from 2011 to 2015, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Computer Science. Afterwards, they returned to the same university from 2015 to 2016 to receive a Master of Science (MS) in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.
