Feng Peng is a Principal Researcher at USG, with a focus on product development, complaint resolution, quality assurance, and data analytics since January 2016. Notable achievements include the development of Power BI Desktop queries for data visualization for executive reporting, mapping methods for salt migration in wallboard, and implementing an in-database analytics platform for gypsum quality data. Feng has actively participated in standardization efforts with the North American Insulation Manufacturers Associations and international discussions on mineral wool fiber safety. Previously, as a Senior Researcher, significant contributions included executing safety assessment methods for man-made vitreous fibers and enhancing laboratory analytical capabilities. Before joining USG, Feng served as a Senior Research Scientist at the Upstate Freshwater Institute, focusing on freshwater research. Feng holds a PhD in Environmental Chemistry from the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry, accompanied by a Master's and Bachelor's degree from Nanjing University in the same field.
