Mark Hemphill is an experienced leader in the construction materials industry, currently serving as Director of the Gypsum Panels Lab and Director of Industrial Products at USG since January 2013, where responsibilities include innovating Gypsum Sheetrock Panels. Prior to this role, Mark Hemphill worked at CGC Inc. from February 2009 to January 2013 as Business Development Manager, focusing on expanding the industrial products division, and as Plant Manager overseeing a Wallboard, Joint Treatment, and Distribution Center alongside an underground mine. Mark Hemphill is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Illinois Chicago, expected to graduate in 2024, and holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from the Technical University of Nova Scotia, as well as a Diploma in Engineering from Saint Mary's University.
