Michael Kovas

Michael Kovas has extensive experience in IT and finance operations, primarily at USG since May 2001. In the role of IT Infrastructure and Finance Operations Sr. Director, Michael partners with FP&A and Capital teams to align the IT budget with the overall budget strategy, ensuring that all IT teams and projects are tracked and managed effectively. Previous positions include Director of IT Operations, where responsibility encompassed managing IT infrastructure across various locations, and IT Sr. Manager, overseeing network teams in support of multiple manufacturing sites. Michael's career began at Argonne National Laboratory as a Network Administrator, followed by roles at Aon, and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Operations Management and MIS from DePaul Driehaus College of Business and a BA in Technology Management from the University of St. Francis.
