Philip Petti serves as the Chief Intellectual Property Counsel for USG Corporation since July 2008, providing strategic legal counsel on intellectual property matters throughout North America and managing global IP portfolios in coordination with the Knauf Group. In addition, Philip plays an active role in the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA) as a member of the Legislation Committee, and previously held titles such as Chair and Vice Chair of the AIPLA Fellows, and Chair of the Membership Committee. Prior to USG, Philip was a Senior Partner at Fitch Even Tabin & Flannery, focusing extensively on intellectual property litigation. Philip holds a J.D. from Drake University Law School and dual B.A. degrees in Chemistry and Sociology/Anthropology from North Central College and Carleton College, respectively.
