Unique Salateey Humanitarian Assistance Foundation (USHAF) Nigeria is a civic infrastructure organization strengthening community resilience against misinformation, social harm, and democratic erosion. We design and deploy community-owned systems that enable citizens—especially youth and marginalized groups—to detect risks early, clarify truth responsibly, and sustain peace through collective accountability.

USHAF operates through an integrated Civic Immune System built on three institutional pillars: the Olobó Alert Network for grassroots early warning and risk detection; the Amòyẹ Explainer Hub for public truth clarification and civic sense-making; and the Àjùmọ̀ṣe Community Compact for sustaining shared norms, non-violent conflict response, and intergenerational accountability.

Our work focuses on prevention rather than reaction. We embed early warning, civic intelligence, and local governance into everyday community life using culturally grounded, politically neutral, and scalable methods. Through flagship initiatives such as Project HEARTS (school safeguarding and mental well-being), Project CLEAR (civic and environmental early warning), and Ìjọba Awá Àrà Wá (democratic resilience and disinformation response), USHAF strengthens local capacity to respond constructively to emerging risks before they escalate into harm.

USHAF partners with schools, youth groups, community leaders, and civil society networks to build practical civic infrastructure that promotes truth, safety, dignity, and democratic trust at community and cross-border levels.
