Danielle Pickens

Danielle Pickens serves as the Chief Program Officer at Urban Schools Human Capital Academy and is the Founder and CEO of LumiTalent, providing leadership development and talent strategy consulting for education and nonprofit organizations. With a strong background in human resources, Danielle has led national programming that develops leaders across over 100 school systems and has created significant initiatives, including the Emerging Human Capital Leaders program. Additionally, Danielle has experience coaching expecting parents through career transitions at Parentaly and has held various roles at the NYC Department of Education, impacting teacher certification and strategic partnerships. Danielle holds an Ed.M. in Education Policy and Management from Harvard Graduate School of Education and a B.A. in Public Policy from the University of Chicago.
