René Polak

René Polak has a diverse work experience that spans over four decades. René is currently serving as the Sales Director Horticulture at Ushio Europe since 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Sales Manager Horticulture at Ushio Germany from 2018 to 2022. Before joining Ushio, René worked as a Sales Manager at WaterQ from 2017 to 2018. René also served as an Accountmanager Sales at Agrolux from 2014 to 2016. René gained extensive experience in the horticultural lighting industry during their time as an Account Manager Horticultural Lighting at Philips Lighting from 2007 to 2014. René also has experience as a Managing Director at Marlin Trading BV from 1994 to 2001 and as Inkoop / Verkoop A.G.F. at Westland Import Internationaal BV (WII) from 1982 to 1993.

In 2015, René Polak obtained a certification in LED from Philips LED gecertificeerd program in the field of Horticulture / HPS / LED.
