Benjamin Yen has been working in the software engineering industry since 2011. Benjamin began their career at Centex Support Systems as an Intern in 2011. Benjamin then moved on to VersaSuite - Integrated Healthcare Solutions where they worked as an eHR Template Developer. In 2012, they joined Spansion as an Advanced Process Control Engineer I, where they designed and implemented new control models of processes and/or devices for use in automated control applications, designed and implemented automated control applications and integrated them with existing process control frameworks, and analyzed data related to processes and optimized controller performance. In 2015, they joined The Boon Group, Inc. as a Software Engineer, Associate Software Engineer, and Support Engineer. Most recently, in 2017, they joined uShip as a Senior Software Engineer I, Developer III, Developer II, and Software Developer.

Benjamin Yen obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas at San Antonio between 2007 and 2011. Benjamin is also currently studying at The University of Texas at Austin, but has not yet earned a degree.
