Chris Beckett

Training Team Lead at uShip

Chris Beckett has worked in a variety of roles since 2004. Chris began their career as a Marketing Associate at Symphony Space in 2004. In 2006, they moved to DC Comics as an Editorial Operations Administrator. In 2010, they left DC Comics to pursue a career as a Freelance Color Artist, which they successfully managed to do within 10 months. Chris has been published by DC Comics, Marvel Comics, Image Comics, Cartoon Network, BOOM! Studios and successfully launched two crowd-funded graphic novels to publication. In 2012, they joined uShip as a Sr. Member Support Specialist and was quickly promoted to a full-time salary. In 2015, they were promoted to Training Team Lead and then to Customer Operations Training Specialist.

Chris Beckett obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mass Communications from Virginia Commonwealth University, which they completed between 1998 and 2003. In May 2020, they also obtained a Zendesk Support Administrator certification from Zendesk.
