Tom Piere

Tom Piere has held various roles in the software engineering industry since 2006. Tom began their career as a Senior Software Engineer at Thomson Reuters, where they helped build WestlawNext, a premier platform for legal research. Tom then joined DevJam as a DevDude in 2011. That same year, they held two concurrent roles as an Application Developer at Dow Jones and Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc. At Dow Jones, they worked on the Wall Street Journal's website, MarketWatch.com, and BigCharts.com, adding charting features and fixing general issues. At Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc., they worked on ameriprise.com and columbiamanagement.com. In 2012, they became a Senior Liferay Developer at WellPoint. In 2014, they moved to Dell as a Sr Principal Engineer, and in 2017, they joined uShip as a Sr Software Developer.

Tom Piere attended the University of Minnesota from 2002 to 2006, where they received a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
