Matthew Johnson, P.Eng. has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. Matthew is currently working as a Principal Engineer at Ushr Inc. since August 2022. Matthew also worked as a Mechanical Developer at Chipsetter Inc. from October 2015 to October 2016. Additionally, they served as a Systems Engineering Specialist at Geodigital International Inc. from September 2011 to August 2015. Matthew Johnson co-founded Watchdog Automation in July 2009, where they worked as a Co-founder/ System Designer, focusing on custom engineering designs for industries involving embedded systems. Matthew also worked as a Software Engineering Grad Student at McMaster University from May 2009 to September 2009, with their thesis focused on the development of a robotic vehicle control system. Matthew Johnson, P.Eng. holds a M.A.Sc. degree in Software Engineering from McMaster University, which they obtained from 2009 to 2013. Prior to that, they received their B.Eng. degree in Mechatronics from McMaster University from 2005 to 2009. Matthew also has additional certifications including a CSM certification from Scrum Alliance, obtained in April 2018, and a P.Eng. certification from Professional Engineers Ontario, obtained in 2016.
