David Dougherty

David Dougherty, ARM, currently serves as Vice President of Property & Casualty, Alternative Risk at USI Insurance Services since January 2023. Prior to this role, Dougherty was a Captive Consultant at Atlas Insurance Management, where responsibilities included engineering captive insurance programs and conducting feasibility studies. Dougherty also held the position of Senior Business Development Specialist at National Interstate Insurance Company, managing sales in the East territory and establishing relationships with agency partners. Earlier experience includes a role as Business Development Specialist at the same company, focusing on customer relationships and sales presentations, and as a Marketing Analyst at Bennett Adelson, where marketing and promotional activities were coordinated. Dougherty holds a Bachelor of Arts in Finance from Mercyhurst University, earned in 2014.
