Eric Wolfrey

Eric Wolfrey, CRIS has extensive experience in the insurance industry, specifically in risk management and commercial insurance. Eric has worked for multiple companies throughout their career, including USI Insurance Services, Assurance, NFP, BB&T - Atlantic Risk Management, and TISC Insurance Agency.

In their most recent role at USI Insurance Services as Vice President, Eric provided insurance and risk management solutions to businesses, helping them lower their total cost of risk. Eric worked with owners and upper management to determine risk financing structures, reduce claims frequency and severity, and improve risk management programs.

Prior to that, Eric worked as a Risk Management Consultant and Sr. Insurance Broker at Assurance, where they worked with companies to minimize risk and maximize health. Eric played a key role in establishing the Mid-Atlantic office and was passionate about helping business owners overcome challenges.

At NFP, they served as a Senior Sales Executive - Producer, developing and servicing commercial insurance and risk management programs for mid-size entities. Eric focused on assisting clients with loss control, risk management, and claims management to protect their assets and control their total cost of risk.

Before NFP, Eric worked as an Account Executive - Producer at BB&T - Atlantic Risk Management, where they specialized in developing and servicing new P&C commercial lines business. Eric structured insurance and risk management programs for clients in the construction, IT, nonprofit, and real estate industries, coordinating resources to control client's experience mod, claims/losses, and total cost of risk.

At USI Insurance Services, Eric served as Vice President Commercial Lines and was responsible for acquiring, growing, and servicing mid-size to large entities. Eric focused on understanding the unique exposures of each client and helping them design and implement property & casualty insurance and risk management programs. Eric specialized in the construction and real estate industries.

Earlier in their career, Eric worked as a Commercial Lines Producer at TISC Insurance Agency and as a Mortgage Banker/Branch Sales Manager at Bank of America Home Loans/Countrywide Home Loans.

Eric Wolfrey, CRIS has a Bachelor's degree in Business Finance from the University of Maryland - Robert H. Smith School of Business. Additionally, they have completed the Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist (CRIS) program at IRMI.
