Laura Short

Laura Short has a diverse work experience in the insurance and administrative services industry. Laura started their career in 1995 as an Account Manager at Employee Benefit Services (EBS) and later worked as an Account Manager at CNA/Hartford from 1999 to 2005. In 2010, Laura joined Elkin & Associates, a TASC Company, serving as an Account Manager until 2014. Laura then transitioned to TASC (Total Administrative Services Corporation) where they held various roles including Processing Specialist III, Financial Administration from 2014 to 2017, Processing Specialist IV, Lead, Business Administration from 2017 to 2018, and Special Operations Contract Specialist from 2018 to 2019. Currently, Laura is working at USI Insurance Services, starting as an Employee Benefits Analyst from 2019 to 2020, and subsequently becoming the Employee Benefits Analyst Team Lead from December 2020 onwards.

Laura Short attended Appalachian State University from 1984 to 1989, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a focus on Insurance.
