Scott Canfield is an experienced educational leader with a strong background in charter school development and administration. Currently serving as a Commercial Lines Producer at USI Insurance Services since October 2025, Scott previously held the position of Director of Technical Assistance at the Washington State Charter School Commission. As Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Why Not You Academy from July 2019 to June 2023, Scott successfully launched the first single-site charter public high school in the Puget Sound region, overseeing various aspects of school management. Additional experience includes serving as Dean of Students at Federal Way Public Schools, Assistant Principal at Seattle Public Schools, and multiple teaching roles. Scott holds a Master's Degree in Teaching from Seattle University, along with a Certification in Educational Leadership and Administration from Western Governors University and a Certificate in Education Finance from Georgetown University.
