Steven McLendon

Steven McLendon has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Steven currently holds the position of Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer at USI Insurance Services since August 2016. In this role, they are responsible for the finance department and organizational requirements for budgeting, forecasting, and reporting analysis. Steven serves as a partner to the regional CEO, sales/practice leaders, and other departments within the company.

In addition to their role at USI Insurance Services, Steven McLendon is also a Board Member at The CFO Leadership Council since December 2017. Steven holds a similar position as a Board Member at New Beginnings since April 2020, where they contribute to empowering survivors and raising community awareness of domestic violence.

Prior to their current positions, Steven McLendon worked at Cold Springs Partners, LLC as a Partner & Chief Financial Officer from May 2015 to August 2016. Steven also had a long-term tenure at AARP Services, where they held several roles, including Senior Client Relationship Manager, Insurance Programs, and Director of Business Planning & Financial Reporting, between August 2001 and April 2015. During their time at AARP Services, they focused on developing provider relationships, implementing strategic plans, and driving customer satisfaction and sales growth.

Previous to AARP Services, Steven McLendon held positions at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP, Baker Hughes / Baker Process, Compaq, Deloitte & Touche, and Texas Instruments, where they gained experience in strategic planning, finance, and portfolio marketing, among other responsibilities.

Steven McLendon attended Baylor University and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Economics. Steven then pursued further education at Baylor University - Hankamer School of Business, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Finance.
