Stew Gibson

Stew Gibson has a diverse work experience spanning several decades. Stew started their career in 1985 as a Sr. Programmer Analyst at RCA Corporation, providing IT support for payroll and human resource functions. Stew then joined GE Support Services in 1987, where they served in various technology positions and later became the CIO. At GE, they directed the creation of an onsite technical leadership group and transformed the technology team into a results-driven organization. In 2000, Stew co-founded efacility.com, a startup specializing in online brokering for the property and facilities management industry. As the CTO and Acting President, they led technology development and formed strategic partnerships with companies like Oracle, IBM, and Qwest. In the same year, they also joined Pitney Bowes as VP of Solutions Management and later became the VP of eBusiness and Product Support. At Pitney Bowes, they were a member of the executive team for Pitney Bowes Management Services and played a key role in providing outsource services. Since 2006, Stew has been with USI Insurance Services as the Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer. Stew oversees all aspects of the Information Technology function and also manages the corporate procurement, real estate, and travel organizations. In 2020, Stew became the Founding Chair and Member of the Advisory Board at NewYorkCIO, and in 2021, they joined the Military Benefit Foundation as a Board Member.

Stew Gibson attended Shady Side Academy from 1979 to 1981. From 1981 to 1985, they pursued a BS degree in Information Systems at Carnegie Mellon University.
