Derrick Planz

Derrick Planz is a seasoned software engineer and IT consultant currently employed at Aether Tech Systems since February 2023. With a robust background, Planz has been a senior software developer at the U.S. Naval Academy Alumni Association and Foundation since April 2012, where significant contributions include developing widely-used digital applications. Previous roles include technology support technician at Anne Arundel County Public Schools from May 2009 to April 2012, focusing on resolving technical issues and streamlining processes, and as a computer system field installer at Daly Computers from June 2007 to August 2009, where responsibility included implementing IT solutions for commercial clients. Derrick Planz holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Maryland, completed in 2011, and graduated from Severna Park High School in 2006.
