Jonghwa Chang

Chief Scientist for Micro Reactors at USNC

Dr. Jonghwa Chang is a nuclear physicist who has dedicated their career to research and teaching in the field. Jonghwa is currently the Chief Scientist for Micro Reactors at USNC, and has previously taught at Chonbuk National University and KAIST as an Invited Professor and Adjunct Professor, respectively. Dr. Chang has also been a Consultant at the Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute since 2015. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Research Advisor and Principal Researcher at the Institute from 2009 to 2014. Dr. Chang began their career at the Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute in 1979 as a Principal Researcher, where they worked for 35 years before joining USNC.

Jonghwa Chang's educational career includes a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Nuclear Engineering from Seoul National University.
