Carrie Harney

Carrie Harney has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Carrie most recently worked at US Pharmacopeia, starting in 2016. Carrie held various roles including Vice President of US Government and Regulatory Affairs, Senior Director of US Government and Regulatory Affairs, and Director of US Advocacy. Prior to that, they worked at AstraZeneca as the Director of Federal Government Affairs & Policy from 2011 to 2016. Earlier in their career, they worked as an Associate at Covington & Burling LLP specializing in Food and Drug law from 2004 to 2011. Carrie began their career as a Law Clerk at the U.S. District Court, District of Maryland from 2002 to 2003.

Carrie Harney received their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Biology from St. Mary's College of Maryland in 1999. Carrie later pursued their Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law from 1999 to 2002.
