Danial Baker

Danial Baker currently serves as Regents Professor Emeritus at WSU College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences since August 2025 and has been a volunteer member of the USP Health Quality and Safety Expert Committee since July 2015. Baker holds various leadership roles within the USP, including Chair of the Drug Classification & Medicare Model Guideline Subcommittees and Vice Chair of the Healthcare Safety and Quality Expert Committee. An adjunct professor at Gulf Medical University since July 2020, Baker also contributes to Accredo's Specialty Advisory Board, focusing on the evaluation of specialty medications. With a history of distinguished service at Washington State University, including the rank of Regents Professor and Director of the Drug Information Center, Baker has over four decades of experience in pharmacy education and practice, complemented by a Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Pharmacy from Washington State University. Additionally, Baker has been actively involved in the 49 Degrees North Ski Patrol since 1992, holding the position of Alpine Senior Patroller and Patrol Director.
