Diane McCarthy

Diane McCarthy has an extensive work experience in various roles within the scientific and biotechnology field. Diane is currently working at US Pharmacopeia as the Senior Director of Science and Standards, where they are responsible for overseeing scientific and standards-related initiatives. Prior to this, Diane held positions such as Director of Biologics Pipeline Development and Senior Scientific and Standards Liaison at US Pharmacopeia.

Before joining US Pharmacopeia, Diane worked at Caprion as the Senior Scientific Director, where they presented protein analysis service capabilities to clients and designed studies. Additionally, they were involved in designing new websites to target diverse market segments.

Diane also served as the Senior Director of Business Development and Director of Scientific Affairs at Ezose Sciences, where they managed operational and business development responsibilities. Diane established worldwide relationships with prospects, clients, and collaborators in the biomarker and biotherapeutics fields.

Diane began their career as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Texas at Austin, where they studied the structure and regulation of the pyruvate dehydrogenase complex. Diane gained expertise in molecular biology techniques, protein expression, purification, and crystallization.
