Edmond Biba

Edmond Biba is a Senior Principal Scientist in the Science Division at the United States Pharmacopeia, where they manage the development of various USP-NF General Chapters. Previously, they served as a Scientific Liaison and Reference Standards Scientist, maintaining and developing complex portfolios of reference standards and chapters. Edmond holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from American University and has academic experience as a Chemist in Residence at the University of Tirana, where they lectured in Organic Chemistry. They also completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research, focusing on the synthesis of antimalarial drug candidates.
