Elizabeth O'Keefe

Elizabeth O'Keefe has extensive experience in compliance and ethics, particularly in the pharmaceutical and technology industries. Elizabeth currently holds the position of Director, Global Compliance and Ethics at US Pharmacopeia since January 2022, where they oversee compliance efforts on a global scale. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Compliance Manager at US Pharmacopeia from September 2020 to January 2022.

Before joining US Pharmacopeia, O'Keefe worked as a Compliance Manager at KAYAK from November 2018 to September 2020, where they ensured adherence to regulatory requirements. Elizabeth also served as a Success Manager at SAI Global from February 2018 to November 2018, where they focused on customer success.

O'Keefe's earlier experiences include working at Netcracker Technology as a Compliance Manager from February 2017 to November 2017. In this role, they collaborated with key stakeholders to ensure compliance with ethical standards and led the company's Immigration Compliance Program. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Immigration Paralegal at Netcracker Technology from November 2015 to April 2017, where they specialized in immigration compliance, managed visa and permanent residency applications, and provided guidance to junior staff.

Their career began at Microsoft Corporation, where they held various roles related to compliance and immigration. Notably, they worked as a Compliance Operations Program Manager from January 2008 to July 2014, overseeing data reporting, process improvement initiatives, and collaboration with legal, HR, and IT teams. Elizabeth also served as an Immigration Compliance Program Manager from August 2006 to January 2008, managing the day-to-day operations of the immigration compliance team and ensuring adherence to employment eligibility verification processes. O'Keefe's earlier role at Microsoft was as an Immigration Paralegal.

Throughout their career, O'Keefe has showcased their expertise in compliance and ethics, driving accountability, and fostering successful partnerships with various stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance.

Elizabeth O'Keefe attended Plymouth State University from 1989 to 1994, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science and Government. In 2012, they obtained the Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional certification from the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics (SCCE).
