Gersande Chavez

Gersande Chavez is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in global health and program development, currently serving as Vice President and Global and Federal Practice Lead at US Pharmacopeia since July 2016. In this role, Gersande leads initiatives to enhance equitable access to medical products and strengthen pharmaceutical supply chains. Previous positions include Vice President of Global Health Programs at US Pharmacopeia and Senior Director of New Business Development at International Medical Corps. Earlier career highlights feature significant roles at Save the Children US, including Deputy Area Director and Country Director, where Gersande managed operations across Latin America and developed strategic partnerships for funding.
