Jarkko Huuskonen

Jarkko Huuskonen is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, currently serving as Director of Biologics at US Pharmacopeia since June 2023, overseeing the development of analytical reference materials for a broad range of biologics. Previously, Jarkko held the position of Sr. Director and Head of US Operations at SciNeuro Pharmaceuticals, where leadership was provided in establishing a new R&D discovery center. Jarkko also served as R&D Director at ATCC, leading a team in cell biology initiatives, and progressed through roles at Canon U.S. Life Sciences and Life Technologies, ultimately managing multiple R&D teams. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Helsinki and a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco, focusing on cholesterol metabolism.
