Leyla Blanco is an experienced manager in the field of translation and localization, currently serving as the Manager of Editorial & Translation Services at US Pharmacopeia since November 2022. In this role, Leyla oversees the daily operations of the Translations & Localization Group, ensuring effective workflow management and quality control for translations. Previously, Leyla held the position of Director of Federal Language Services at JTG-inc and served as a consultant/program manager for various organizations, where responsibilities included coordinating projects and acting as a lead translator. Leyla's earlier experience includes roles as a Business Analyst at Sprint and a Program Manager at McNeil Technologies, where Leyla managed large-scale federal contracts and utilized native Spanish fluency for translation tasks. Leyla holds a Master's degree in Latin American and Caribbean Studies from New York University and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Universidad de Los Andes.
