Simona Dragan

Simona Dragan is a highly experienced scientist currently serving as a Senior Scientist II in Documentary Standards at US Pharmacopeia since July 2023, focusing on the development of documentary standards for USP-NF. Previously, Simona contributed to the bioproduct R&D team at Eli Lilly and Company from August 2021 to February 2023, leading GMP initiatives and overseeing collaboration projects while authoring CMC modules for BLA and IND submissions. From December 2010 to August 2021, Simona held the role of Principal Scientist at Fresenius Kabi USA, managing lifecycle product development and regulatory documentation, alongside earlier experience in generic product and analytical method development at Abraxis Bioscience and APP Pharmaceuticals. Additionally, Simona has served as an adjunct professor of chemistry at community colleges in the Chicagoland area from January 2015 to January 2020. Simona Dragan holds a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from Loyola University Chicago and a Master of Science from Purdue University.
