Thomas Reinders

Thomas Reinders is a Professor Emeritus at the School of Pharmacy at Virginia Commonwealth University. They have extensive experience in pharmacy, having served as Chair of the Expert Committee for Nomenclature, Safety and Labeling at the United States Pharmacopeia from 2005 to 2015 and as a member of the United States Adopted Names Council since 2014. Reinders previously held the position of Director of Pharmacy at VCU Health from 1984 to 1996 and worked as a pharmacist at Appalachian Regional Healthcare in the early 1970s. They earned both a Doctor of Pharmacy and a B.S. in Pharmacy from the University of Cincinnati.
